The Gift of Gold Project is a programme in CIE British School, where the students from Years 7-12, adopt and work with underpriviliged families to establish, run, operate and manage micro-enterprises as a means to liberate economically disadvantaged families from poverty.
The Gift of Gold Project was created by our founder, Professor Nelia Cruz Sarcol, to give her students the chance to uplift the lives of less fortunate families. She gives young students the chance to become entrepreneurs of their own business, using the products and services provided by their beneficiary family. It allows the students to learn the necessary skills and abilities through their micro-businesses that can benefit them in the future.
The Global Entrepreneurship Week spans three days and allows the students' micro-businesses to be known and recognized to the public.
