Our Business

Bagtastic produces hand-made, eco-friendly paper bags suited for special occasions and any packaging needs.  Our products are created with various materials such as Christmas wrappers and cartolina and are turned into the simple yet useful paper bags crafted by our beneficiary, Henedina Demetria.  We present products with a variety of designs, sizes, and colors that would suit anyone’s preference.  With our products, we aim to raise awareness regarding the project behind it, which allows each purchase to support our beneficiary family in several ways.  We want our products to benefit everyone involved, whether they are the ones creating them, or the ones purchasing them.

Products

Christmas Paper Bags: Generally suited for the Christmas season as they are sturdy enough for any present you wish to give.  These are made mainly using simple Christmas wrappers reinforced with board.

Cartolina Paper Bags: These have a very general purpose that can be used on any occasion.  We provide a wide variety of colors and sizes to choose from.  They are made mainly with cartolina.

Food Paper Bags: These are typically paired with food products such as munchkins or cookies and only come in one color.

Production Process

Generally, all of our products are made the same way.  First, you should fold the paper lengthwise and glue it.  Then, fold the top edges inwards by about an inch, along with the sides of the paper by 2 and a half inches.  Fold each side along the middle and the bottom half.  From there, open the bottom section of the paper and flatten as you fold its edges inwards.  Insert some cardboard to its base and the upper folds and glue them in place.  Lastly, punch holes into the upper section of the bag and insert the handles, which are usually yarn.
