CIE British School Cebu Campus came alive as we launched The ARK (Acts of Random Kindness)—a celebration of the many faces of compassion!
Our students expressed respect, courage, generosity, inclusivity, and empathy through:
Creative Skits
High-Energy Dance
Moving Songs
Each performance reflected a personal understanding of how kindness shapes our world.
At the heart of the event was Teacher Nelia, the visionary founder of The ARK. She shared a powerful truth: Kindness is our nature, but when we forget it, chaos follows. As she visited each classroom, she gifted every student an ARK T-shirt and shared stories of how a single charitable gesture can spark a chain reaction. It’s not about being asked; it’s about kindness spreading naturally.
The ARK Workshop took it deeper. Our community engaged in:
Heartfelt letters to teachers
Encouraging notes for classmates
Kindness Commitment Posters
The day concluded with Movie Time, where students watched films on the power of kindness. Seeing our primary students moved to tears reminded us just how deeply compassion resonates.
At CIE British School, true education goes beyond competence. We are nurturing characters grounded in kindness to transform our community.
How does a student perform on some of the world’s biggest stages while continuing to pursue an education?
For CIE Senior High School student Mikha Lim of the internationally acclaimed Filipino girl group BINI, the answer lies in finding a learning pathway that supports both academic goals and extraordinary opportunities.
Fresh from making history with BINI on the global stage, including performances before international audiences and recognition at major music events, Mikha continues her educational journey through S.I.F.T. THE GIFTED (Specific Intelligence Focused Track), a specialized learning pathway offered by CIE British School.
At CIE, we recognize that every learner’s journey is unique. While many students follow a traditional academic schedule, others may have significant commitments beyond the classroom. These may include professional opportunities, artistic pursuits, athletic competitions, leadership responsibilities, or other specialized endeavors that require flexibility without compromising educational goals.
S.I.F.T. THE GIFTED was developed to support these exceptional learners. As a structured alternative to traditional full-schedule schooling, the program allows students to continue working toward their academic qualifications while managing the demands of their unique commitments.
The program reflects CIE’s belief that education should adapt to the needs of learners, empowering them to grow academically while pursuing opportunities that help shape their future.
Mikha’s journey is an inspiring example. As BINI continues to earn international recognition and represent Filipino talent on the world stage, she remains committed to completing her education through CIE. Her story demonstrates that with the right support system, students can continue learning while pursuing meaningful opportunities beyond the classroom.
At its heart, S.I.F.T. THE GIFTED is built on a simple but powerful belief: students should not have to choose between their education and their passion.
Whether pursuing excellence in the arts, sports, leadership, entrepreneurship, or other specialized fields, students deserve pathways that recognize their strengths, nurture their potential, and support their aspirations.
Because education is not simply about preparing for the future, it is also about empowering students to pursue their purpose today.
Is S.I.F.T. THE GIFTED Right for Your Child?
If your child has significant commitments beyond the traditional classroom and requires a more flexible approach to learning, S.I.F.T. THE GIFTED may provide the pathway they need to continue their education while pursuing their goals.

At CIE British School, education goes beyond the classroom. We believe that students should be equipped not only with academic knowledge but also with the skills, experiences, and opportunities needed to succeed in an increasingly interconnected world. Through the Global Education Transfer (GET) Program, CIE provides students with pathways to international education and global career opportunities.
The GET Program is designed to help students transition seamlessly from their studies at CIE to higher education opportunities abroad. By combining a strong academic foundation with internationally oriented learning pathways, the program enables students to broaden their horizons and pursue their educational aspirations on a global stage.
One of the unique advantages of the GET Program is the opportunity for students to maximize their academic credits. Selected Senior High School business subjects may be credited toward the first and second year of a college degree, allowing students to accelerate their educational journey while gaining access to internationally recognized qualifications.
Through CIE Global Colleges, students pursuing Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) and Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) may have the opportunity to complete the final years of their degree at partner institutions abroad. Current partner institutions include:
• University of Northampton – Northampton, England • Northwood University – Michigan, USA • North Island College – British Columbia, Canada • Les Roches – Marbella, Spain • HIM Business School – Montreux, Switzerland
These partnerships provide students with valuable international exposure, access to diverse learning environments, and opportunities to build global networks that can benefit them throughout their academic and professional careers.
Beyond academic advancement, the GET Program helps students develop the leadership, communication, critical thinking, and cross-cultural competencies that are essential in today’s global economy. By engaging with international institutions and educational pathways, students gain the confidence and perspective needed to thrive in universities and workplaces around the world.
The GET Program reflects CIE’s commitment to preparing future-ready leaders who can succeed locally and globally. Whether students aspire to study abroad, pursue international careers, or expand their educational opportunities, the program serves as a bridge between their ambitions and a world of possibilities.
At CIE, we believe that great opportunities begin with a great education. Through the Global Education Transfer Program, students are empowered to explore new horizons, achieve their goals, and build a future without boundaries.
